Our Ocean One Future Leadership Summit: A First-Hand Reflection

The summit, which was held at Georgetown as a parallel event to the third annual Our Ocean conference hosted by the State Department, invited 150 university students from around the world to collaborate with each other and hear from a variety of speakers about potential strategies and actions that will help to solve some of the ocean’s most pressing problems: climate change, marine pollution, and overfishing. Walsh School of Foreign Service Launches Partnership with OECD Washington Center

On September 15, 2016, The Walsh School of Foreign Service officially launched its partnership with the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Washington Center through the International Affairs Seminar Series. The series kick-off event, hosted at Georgetown University, featured remarks from Dean Joel Hellman, as well as a lecture from Carol Guthrie, Director of OECD Washington Center. MSFS Announces 2016 SoldierStrong Recipient: Michael White

The Master of Science in Foreign Service program is proud to announce Michael White as the 2016 recipient of the SoldierStrong Scholarship. Michael is a graduate of West Point and Ranger School and has served in the U.S. Army overseas in Kuwait and Afghanistan. He is the second recipient of this endowed, partial-tuition scholarship designated for a U.S. veteran enrolled in the MSFS program. Read More
