Yueh-Ning Chiang
Born and raised in Taiwan, Yueh-Ning (Violet) Chiang is a Master of Science in Foreign Services (MSFS) candidate for the class of 2026. She holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Political Science and Diplomacy from National Chengchi University.
Yueh-Ning's exemplary performance as a Public Diplomacy intern at the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) through the 2021 Foreign National Student Intern Program led to her promotion to part-time Press Assistant. This experience inspired her to pursue a career in international relations. In 2022, while working as a Research Assistant at the Taiwan Digital Diplomacy Association, a Taiwanese NGO dedicated to promoting Taiwan internationally, she participated in research projects concerning digital diplomacy in collaboration with Meta and Radio Taiwan International.
Prior to joining Georgetown University, Yueh-Ning worked as a Researcher at CommonWealth Magazine, where she conducted extensive public polls on elections, corporate polls, and analyzed data for business ESG awards.
Yueh-Ning's areas of focus include US-China-Taiwan relations, cross-strait relations, digital diplomacy, and public diplomacy. She looks forward to explore interesting topics in international relations using data.
