Philipp Sandmann
Philipp Sandmann is a graduate candidate in the Master of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS) program at Georgetown University and a student admissions assistant for the MSFS program. Philipp is pursuing a concentration in International Development and is focusing on the topics of migration and energy security.
Prior to joining MSFS, he worked as a TV reporter and political correspondent for Germany’s largest private news network RTL/ntv, where he regularly interviewed politicians live on air. Philipp has reported on German and international politics for almost a decade, including a wide range of topics, such as Germany’s changing role in NATO and the European Union. He was able to accompany high-ranking politicians on their trips to Israel, Latvia and Kosovo. Philipp has also written political analyses and op-eds for leading German newspapers such as BILD, FAZ and Welt.
He holds a B.A. from Middlesex University (London), as well as an M.A. from City University (London), where he studied TV Journalism.
