Natasha Taliferro
A southern Virginia-native, Natasha is a Master of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS) candidate at Georgetown University pursuing a concentration in Global Politics and Security. She is also pursuing the Graduate Certificate in Asian Studies. Her academic interests include Japan, the U.S.-ROK-Japan trilateral alliance, and the larger Indo-Pacific region. In addition to her academic pursuits, Natasha founded 'Japan Dialogue Forum' (JDF), a graduate student organization at Georgetown focused on Japanese foreign policy, in Spring 2024.
Before joining the Walsh School of Foreign Service, Natasha lived in Japan for roughly seven years and worked for a Japanese copper alloy manufacturing company as an International Sales Representative with a portfolio that included clients in the aerospace, semiconductor, and fusion energy industries. She is also a Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program alumna and a 2023 Charles B. Rangel International Affairs Graduate Fellow. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Global Affairs from George Mason University with minors in Japanese Studies and Intelligence Analysis. Natasha is fluent in Japanese and proficient in Korean.
