Madelyn Starr is from Charlotte, North Carolina and graduated from Elon University with a degree in International/Global Studies and Religious Studies. She studied Arabic throughout her undergraduate career, and has studied abroad in Jordan, Israel/Palestine, and South India. She previously conducted ethnographic research on the Israeli/Palestinian Conflict and interned at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the U.S. House of Representatives. Maddy is currently a Charles B. Rangel International Affairs Graduate Fellow and will enter the foreign service at the U.S. Department of State upon completing my MSFS degree.
