Likai is pursuing a Master of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS) degree with a concentration in Global Politics & Security. Originally from China, Likai received his B.A. in International Relations from the University of Denver.
As an undergraduate, he had the opportunity to intern at the Colorado State Capitol. He worked on helping rural Coloradans with basic needs such as reducing the costs of water and electricity. He also learned how the legislative system works in the U.S. Before coming to Georgetown, he interned at a Chinese law firm. He focused on working with Chinese lawyers on environmental reforms and foreign infrastructure contracts. Likai speaks Mandarin and English. He is particularly interested in U.S.-Sino relations.
"I chose the MSFS program because of its undisputed reputation and more importantly, I can learn from real practitioners in the field of international affairs and security."
