Jeffrey Nahm
Jeff is a graduate candidate in the Master of Science in Foreign Service program at Georgetown University, concentrating in Global Politics and Security. He is particularly interested in economic development and security policies and programs in Asia and the Middle East. Jeff had previously completed his undergraduate studies in Finance and Economics at the University of Maryland.
Jeff is also currently a Senior Strategy Consultant at Deloitte where he primarily works on international development programs. While his portfolio has primarily consisted of technical implementation and project management of economic growth activities, he is currently project manager for a USAID program focused on urban sustainability and a MCC program focused on countering trafficking in persons. Previous to his international development work, he has worked with the U.S. Air Force supporting supply chain and logistics strategy and governance and the USDA where he led the design of foreign loan restructurings totaling over $500 million through DSSI and HIPC.
Outside of work, Jeff was Programs Lead at Young Professionals in Foreign Policy where he designed and moderated speaker events with foreign policy thought leaders and organizations. He is an avid sports enthusiast but also a tormented Chicago Bears fan.
