Isha Gupta
Isha Gupta is pursuing the Master of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS) degree at Georgetown University, concentrating in Global Politics and Security. Isha previously graduated from the George Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Affairs and a double concentration in politics and economics. At GW, she was a member of the Sigma Iota Rho honors society and served on the secretariat of the Washington Area Model United Nations Conference all four years, including Secretary-General. She also studied abroad in Paris, France. Isha was published in GW’s Undergraduate International Affairs Journal, The Globe, for her paper titled Sports and Education: How Sports Participation Cultivates Educational Success.
In 2017, Isha founded the Manjula Gupta Foundation, a non-profit organization focused on girls education equality around the world. She has grown this organization alongside her own education in international affairs. Her interest in foreign relations has grown in tandem with her internships at the Northville Educational Foundation, the Temple of Understanding, U.S. Department of State, U.S. Senate, and the White House. She holds language skills in French and Hindi. Isha hopes to pursue a career as a Foreign Service Officer. |
