Esther Serger is a candidate in the Master of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS) program at Georgetown University, pursuing a concentration in Science, Technology and International Affairs. Her primary research interests are in China’s domestic and international politics, technology policy and the geopolitical consequences of new technologies.

Prior to joining MSFS, Esther worked as an associate junior analyst at the Swedish National China Centre in Stockholm. She has also interned at the European Council on Foreign Relations in Berlin and studied Mandarin in Taipei on the Huayu Enrichment Scholarship. Esther holds a B.A. in Politics and International Relations from SOAS University of London.
