Christopher Cao
Chris Cao is a graduate candidate in the Master of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS) program at Georgetown University's Walsh School of Foreign Service, with a concentration in Global Politics and Security.
Chris has previously worked and interned all across DC, with legislative experience in the House of Representatives and Senate, federal agency experience with the US Agency for International Development's (USAID) climate finance team, and think tank experience as an Executive Office Staff Assistant at the Wilson Center. Chris is also active within the AANHPI community, where he was selected as a 2023 Civic Fellow with the International Leadership Foundation (ILF). With interests in US National Security, Foreign Policy Strategy, Congressional Relations, and International Development, Chris hopes to join the State Department and other federal agencies as a foreign policy analyst/advisor.
A native of Baltimore, Maryland, Chris graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude from American University in 2024, earning a Bachelor's Degree in International Studies within 3 academic years.
