Chelsea Estevez
Chelsea Estevez hails from Long Island, New York. She graduated from Dartmouth College in 2014 with cum laude honors and a Bachelor of Arts in Arabic and French Languages and Literatures. After graduation, she moved to Cairo, Egypt to work in the field of sustainable development at the American University in Cairo. After two years in Cairo, a year working for a law-related non-profit in NYC, and several summers working for Seeds of Peace, a youth development organization in Maine, Chelsea joined the Foreign Service as an Arabic Consular Fellow. During her tenure with the State Department, she served in U.S. Embassy Tunis and U.S. Embassy Cairo, using her language skills to assist American citizens in emergency situations and adjudicate immigration and visa cases. Chelsea has studied in Amman and Paris, and is currently at Georgetown University pursuing her Master of Science in Foreign Service with a Global Politics and Security concentration. In her free time, Chelsea loves writing, running, playing the ukulele, and learning new languages.
