Brecken Costley
Brecken is a candidate in the Master of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS) at Georgetown University, with a concentration in Global Politics and Security. Her areas of interest include negotiation and mediation, policymaking, and the future of AI in game theory diplomacy and conflict resolution.
As an Air Force veteran, Brecken brings a wealth of experience from the public sector. Her roles include military law enforcement, State of Utah Veteran Service Officer, and House of Representatives Green & Gold Congressional Aide. She has a proven track record in handling constituent casework in immigration, veterans/military affairs, tax issues, and government whistleblowing.
She is an alumna of the University of Utah, where she graduated with a cumulative GPA of 3.9 and triple majored in Political Science, International Studies, and Middle East Studies. During her undergrad, Brecken completed a study abroad in Cairo, Egypt, after taking all Arabic courses offered at the U of U. She also served as the President of the Middle Eastern Languages Club, cultivating and sharing Middle Eastern culture, languages, and history with university students.
