Ari Filler
Ari did his undergraduate work here at the School of Foreign Service, majoring in International Politics and minoring in Chinese and Economics. His academic and professional interests focus on economic statecraft, international negotiations, and strategic foreign policymaking. His professional experiences include stints as a legislative intern in the Massachusetts House of Representatives; as an intern on the data team at the Institute for State Effectiveness; as a Research Assistant at the Center for Security and Emerging Technology; and as an intern at the Office of the United States Trade Representative. He has been studying Mandarin Chinese continuously for the past 10 years. Driven by an ardent desire to service his country as best he can, Ari is pursuing a career in the design and negotiation of economic and foreign policy.
