Anishka Khosla
Anishka Khosla is currently pursuing a Masters of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS) at Georgetown University with an emphasis in Global Politics and Security and a regional focus in Sub Saharan Africa. Anishka’s interest in the Sub Saharan African region stems from her passion for growth in Africa as she was born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya. Her unique cultural background and Indian heritage allows Anishka to bring a distinctive perspective along with a deep cultural understanding of various African and intersectional South Asian cultures.
Prior to attending Georgetown University, Anishka lived in the beautiful sunny Southern California for 12 years. She attended the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) and attained her Bachelors degree in Political Science with an emphasis in International Relations and Economics. While Anishka was at UCSD, she was a pioneer in several different on campus activities, interned at the World Affairs Council and served as a mentor and tutor for an after school program for refugees. Anishka speaks Swahili, Hindi and Punjabi. Following graduation, Anishka hopes to continue a career in public service that blends her passions for international politics and humanitarian relief.
