Anastasia Carolyn Espejo Voellm
Anastasia Voellm is a first-year MSFS candidate concentrating in International Development. She is from Alexandria, Virginia and graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and double-minored in Mandarin Chinese and Business Administration. As an undergraduate she had the opportunity to study Mandarin Chinese at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China where she conducted forums with current students and professors to discuss major U.S-China relations. At Georgetown, she focuses her studies in conflict resolution and post-conflict development. She interned at USAID with the Yemen Office in the Bureau of Humanitarian Assistance. Anastasia also serves as an Officer in the Civil Affairs branch in the US Army Reserve. After graduating from Georgetown, she hopes to join the Foreign Service with USAID.
