Prior to coming to Georgetown, Alexandra spent a year living abroad in Toulouse, France. There she worked as an English Teaching Assistant at a French vocational high school through the Teaching Assistant Program in France (TAPIF). For the past two summers, Alexandra interned with the healthcare company Exact Sciences on business analytics teams. In this role, she worked on machine learning models to predict healthcare behavior and expand Exact Sciences’ market penetration. Alexandra previously studied at the University of California, Berkeley, where she earned a B.A. in Data Science. Within her degree, Alexandra concentrated on the use of data science in government applications, with a focus on how data analysis can shed insight into law enforcement activities. During her time at Berkeley, Alexandra worked for two years at the Daily Californian. As a staff writer, she covered local news topics such as homelessness, prison abuse, and human trafficking. In the spring of 2020, she studied abroad at the University of Nicosia in Nicosia, Cyprus until the start of the pandemic.
"I chose MSFS because it's located in Washington D.C., the center of American foreign policy, and classes are taught by world-renowned practitioners."
