Alex Belooussov is a candidate in the Master of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS) program at Georgetown University, pursuing a concentration in Global Politics & Security. His primary research interests are in transnational security, nuclear proliferation, strategic foreign policymaking, and the intersection of security cooperation and diplomacy. Prior to joining the Walsh School of Foreign Service, Alex worked for a global consulting firm with projects in the U.S., Europe, and Asia, where he focused on dispute resolution, risk mitigation and project management for public and private clients. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of Westminster, London. Alex has lived in the U.K., France, Japan, and the U.S.
