Eric Britton
Eric, a student in Master of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS) Class of 2020, is concentrating in Global Business and Finance with interest areas in Latin America and energy. Prior to MSFS, Eric worked for a development NGO in Guatemala in both managerial and director-level positions. While there, he oversaw the pilot stages of a distributed solar power program and preventive health initiatives. Previously, he worked for a senator in the Maryland General Assembly, serving as the Member’s Chief of Staff. In this position, Eric helped pass meaningful legislation related to education, health, and environmental affairs.
Eric holds a double-major bachelor's degree from the College of Charleston in International Studies and Spanish. While there, he was actively involved with a student advocacy and social services organization for migrant farm workers. Eric is a Maryland native and enjoys soccer, hiking, rock climbing, and traveling.
