Getting to Campus

The week before classes begin is a busy time at Georgetown. During this week, over 1700 undergraduate students are moving on to campus, and various events and orientations are taking place on campus. For that reason, CAMPUS IS CLOSED TO VEHICULAR TRAFFIC on August 19-22. If at all possible, please do not drive to campus.

Please plan to access campus via public transportation. As a Georgetown student, you also have access to the GUTS shuttles.

When taking a taxi or other ridesharing service to Georgetown University, the best destination is 37th & O Street, NW. Taxis and other passenger vehicles are able to access the Leavey Center Hotel and Conference Center and Medstar Georgetown University Hospital via the Reservoir Road entrance.
