Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get to campus and where do I park?
Please see guidance on traveling to campus for orientation on this page.
Do I need to have completed a COVID test before coming to orientation?
We prefer you to be tested prior to Orientation but, but University policy is to be tested in the 48 hours before or 24 hours after your first visit to campus. Please see instructions for How to Schedule a COVID-19 Test.
Are masks required at orientation?
Yes, masks are required in all Georgetown University buildings.
What is the dress code for orientation events?
There is no official dress code for any of the MSFS orientation events. For first-year orientation and the reception on August 19, faculty will be present so we recommend business casual attire. For continuing student orientation, we understand students will be coming from class so any attire is acceptable.
Will I meet faculty at MSFS orientation?
Yes! There will be a faculty panel during orientation, and faculty are invited to the MSFS Orientation Reception.
