MSFS students and administration enjoyed an outing to the Newseum on Thursday, March 28. The excursion was a chance for students, faculty and stuff to leave campus and enjoy the city over Easter break. The outing included an interactive session about media ethics in addition to touring the museum itself. During the interactive media ethics session, students learned about ethical issues journalists face as they strive to be accurate, fair and clear by examining real-life case studies.
MSFS faculty, staff and students enjoyed both the museum and the ethics session, and the Newseum trip proved to be a valuable expedition. Students and administration are looking forward to enjoying a Washington Nationals Baseball game together in late-April.
