Eric Tunkavige
During his second year at MSFS, Eric worked as a Global Public Affairs Fellow at Hill+Knowlton Strategies. In this role, he supported a global team to advise clients on a breadth of regulatory, social, and geopolitical issues. Previously, Eric served in the US Army for six years at Fort Bragg, NC, most of which was spent in Psychological Operations. His unit was regionally focused on the Middle East, and he deployed to Syria in 2018 as part of Operation Inherent Resolve. There he supported information operations while working alongside a diverse array of partners. During his undergraduate study at Rutgers, he worked on local New Jersey political campaigns. His coursework at MSFS has focused on attaining practical skills for international work, as well as study in key policy areas such as AI, mis/disinformation, and corporate diplomacy. Eric intends to further his career in either government service or private-sector consulting.
