Bergite Musaj
Bergitë Musaj is a second-year graduate student at the Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. She is pursuing a Master’s degree in Foreign Service and concentrating in Global Politics and Security. Bergitë is an Albanian-American from the Republic of Kosova and has lived in New York City for the last decade. Being born and raised in a war-torn country, Bergitë learned from an early age the importance of diplomacy, humanitarian aid and service. Prior to coming to Georgetown, she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Monroe College and worked for multiple non-profit organizations in New York City. At MSFS, she is focusing her studies on the Western Balkans,
international security, and counterterrorism.
Bergitë is currently working as an MSFS fellow for the GPS concentration and interning with the Department of Justice. After graduation, she hopes to pursue a career focused on public service and national security. Bergitë speaks English and Albanian and is pursuing another foreign language.
