Nagisa Hyodo
Nagisa is a Japanese diplomat specializing in foreign trade policy and the Japan-U.S. relation. Through her duty as a member of the Japanese delegation for bilateral and multilateral negotiations, she has witnessed how sincere and diligent conversation leads to a mutually favorable agreement. This experience made her passionate about trade policy as well as communication with people from different countries.
Her experience at a Japanese automotive company has also fortified her enthusiasm for studying the relationship between innovation and economic policy. Since innovation is essential for economic development, she is aspiring to enhance conversation between business and public sectors to design better economic policy. To achieve this goal, she is studying the relationship between business and policy at MSFS through a Japanese government scholarship. She hopes to work with people from the public and business sectors who are enthusiastic about making our society better.
"I chose MSFS because of its focus on practical skills, which serve as a "bridge" connecting my experience in the private company and my future career as a diplomat."
