On Saturday, September 28, a group of MSFS students gathered at a construction site on Clay Place to spend a day giving back to the community through a Habitat for Humanity build. Habitat for Humanity is an organization that helps low-income families afford housing. Today, Habitat has helped build or repair more than 600,000 houses and has served more than three million people worldwide. The student organization Hoyas United in Graduate Service (HUGS) planned the service project as one of the many opportunities graduate Hoyas have to foster professional, social and personal development. HUGS members believe that a complete education must involve service to the community.
