The Presidential Management Fellows (PMF) program is a prestigious and highly selective two-year training and development program for the U.S. federal government civil service following the completion of a recent advanced degree. After a rigorous selection process, finalists have the opportunity to receive an appointment as a Presidential Management Fellow at a U.S. government agency. Upon successful completion of the Fellowship, PMF are eligible to transition into full-time government positions. This application cycle, over 6,280 applications were received and 551 applicants were selected as finalists.
MSFS connects current students interested in the fellowship with alumni who have been selected as finalists to help them navigate options that are available to the finalists and if a career in U.S. public service is the right fit for them.
According to the U.S. Office of Personnel Management’s website, Fellows bring to the government “fresh, new ideas and a willingness to take on challenges”. The program allows Fellows to gain experience and helps them flourish into problem solvers, strategic thinkers and future leaders.
