Florida Huff
Florida Huff is an incoming graduate student in the Master of Science in Foreign Service program, where she intends to pursue a concentration in international development.
Originally from Atlanta, GA, Florida attended Dartmouth College in New Hampshire, where she pursued a major in history modified with economics and a minor in Spanish. During her undergraduate degree, Florida studied abroad in Argentina and researched the impact of the IMF’s economic policy in the country.
Upon graduation, Florida joined the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC)—the U.S. government’s development finance institution—as a marketing and digital media specialist. In this role, she developed and executed comprehensive digital communication strategies to enhance the agency’s global presence among its key stakeholders.
Florida’s work is driven by a deep passion for achieving sustainable development outcomes across the globe, and she is committed to making a meaningful contribution to the field. She is excited to join Georgetown’s rich community and to delve further into the realm of international affairs!
