Spyridon Spyromilios
Spyridon (Spyros) Spyromilios is a postgraduate candidate in the Master of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS) programme at Georgetown University, specialising in Global Business, Finance & Society (GBFS). His areas of interest include Global Government Relations as well as Debt and Development Finance.
Spyros was raised in Athens, Greece. He completed his undergraduate education at the University of Oxford, at St. Hugh’s College (2024), where he read History. At Oxford, his primary areas of study concentrated on the Economic and Political History of European states, focusing on the emergence of the fiscal state, as well as early modern intellectual history. Moreover, during his time at Oxford, he was actively involved in multiple student-led societies, including the Fintech and Legaltech Society, and the Oxford Strategy Group.
Spyros's work experience spans multiple industries, having completed internships in the finance, healthtech, and legal sectors. Last summer, he interned at the ESG fund at Julius Bär in Zurich, while the previous year he worked at the healthtech start-up ZOE in London. Spyros is fluent in Greek and English, whilst also proficient in French.
