Jasmin Rehman
Jasmine Rehman is a graduate candidate in the Master of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS) program at Georgetown University, concentrating on Global Politics & Security. Jasmine’s interests include restorative justice, international legal ethics, conflict resolution & peacebuilding, international terrorism, and intelligence.
Jasmine is a Tampa, FL native and graduated from the University of South Florida in 2023 with a dual B.A in International Relations and B.S. in Business Analytics & Information Systems. As a first-generation daughter of immigrants from India and Pakistan, Jasmine maintains a broad worldview as she consistently feels the influence of both American and Southeast Asian culture on her own life. She wants to make the most of the opportunities awarded to her and give back to those who were born into less fortunate circumstances.
During her undergraduate years, Jasmine engaged in numerous internship and work experiences at the local, state, and federal levels of government as well as in the nonprofit and legal fields. She did direct constituent work with the Tampa Bay community at Congresswoman Kathy Castor’s and State Senator Darryl Rouson’s offices, participated in the local schoolboard election process as a Political Director, gained development experience at the Muslim Public Affairs Council, was a UN Millennium Fellow, and worked as a paralegal to a local law firm.
