Pavlo Zvenyhorodskyi
Pavlo is a first-year MSFS student with interests in U.S.-China strategic competition, European and Transatlantic security, the reform and development of international institutions, and management of humanitarian crises.
Prior to joining MSFS, he served for four years as a diplomat at the Embassy of Ukraine in China, where he covered a wide range of topics including China’s foreign policy, trade and economic cooperation, and protection of human rights of Ukrainian citizens in China and Mongolia. His efforts were recognized with the Ukrainian MFA's Commendation for Excellent Work Performance and consistent high-performance ratings from the Head of the Diplomatic Mission.
Before that, he participated in various projects related to humanitarian and trade cooperation, working with the Office of the President of Ukraine and the Export Promotion Office of Ukraine.
He holds a Bachelor's degree in Translation from Kyiv National Linguistic University and a Master's degree in Chinese Studies from Tongji University in Shanghai.
He is fluent in Ukrainian, English, Mandarin Chinese, and Russian. In 2016, he represented Ukraine at the prestigious Chinese proficiency competition ""Chinese Bridge,"" where he won the World Second Prize and the title of Champion of Europe.
