Elizabeth Markwick
Elizabeth Markwick is a candidate for the Masters of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS) at Georgetown University with a concentration in Global Politics and Security with a focus on diplomacy. A dual citizen of both the United States and the United Kingdom, her background has fueled her interest in international affairs.
Before joining the MSFS program, Elizabeth graduated summa cum laude from Colgate University in May 2024 and earned her bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Peace and Conflict Studies. During her undergraduate career, she held positions at the International Rescue Committee and the US Department of State, working for the Russia Desk. Additionally, Elizabeth spent a semester studying abroad in Geneva, Switzerland and worked for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. She speaks French and hopes to learn Russian in the future.
