Karina Barker
Karina Barker is a candidate for Georgetown University's Master of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS) program, pursuing a concentration in Science, Technology, and International Affairs. She focuses her studies on emerging technologies, weaponry, and climate change.
Karina graduated Summa Cum Laude with two Bachelor's degrees in Political Science and International Studies from the University of Utah. During her undergraduate studies, Karina was a Parliamentarian in the student government's Assembly and studied abroad in Spain for a semester. In addition, she worked for a lobbying firm for two years to create solutions with the Utah State Legislature and served on the Executive Board of a local NGO addressing homelessness issues. Most recently, Karina interned with the U.S. Senate, focusing on foreign policy, budget, and healthcare legislation.
