Abigail Berhane is from Eritrea. She completed her undergraduate degree at Seattle University, earning a BA in International Studies. Her academic and professional interests are deeply rooted in international affairs, human rights, development studies, migration and displacement, and global politics. She has a particular focus on issues that transcend national boundaries, with a geographic interest in Africa. She is excited to be part of the MSFS program at Georgetown University, where she looks forward to engaging with a diverse and dynamic learning community.
