Alexandra Clayton
Alexandra Clayton was born in Changzhou, China, and became a naturalized citizen in 2003 after being adopted by an Arizona couple. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies and French from Colby College in Maine. Her international experience includes summer internships as part of the U.S. Foreign Service Internship Program in the Office of Russian Affairs and in the Regional Security Office at the U.S. Embassy Jakarta, Indonesia. She has also worked at a refugee integration camp, The Poniatowski Refugee Reception and Integration Center (CAIR), in Paris, France. As a Clarke DS Fellow, Alexandra will pursue a Master of Science in Foreign Service at Georgetown’s Walsh School of Foreign Service.
