Rebecca Tone
Rebecca Tone is a JD/MSFS candidate at Georgetown University concentrating in International Law and Global Politics & Security. As a member of the Global Law Scholars program, she is passionate about the intersections between human rights, the environment, and international legal systems. Rebecca graduated summa cum laude from Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service, as a member of three honor societies: Phi Beta Kappa, Alpha Sigma Nu, and Pi Sigma Alpha. She majored in Culture & Politics, double minored in Environmental Studies and Russian Literature & Culture, and achieved proficiency in French.
Outside of her studies at Georgetown, Rebecca has worked at the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of European & Eurasian Affairs, as well as the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives. She has also been part of the Policy & Government Affairs department at WWF, served as a research assistant to a former U.S. Ambassador, and worked on a Congressional campaign in her home state of New Jersey.
