Pranav Agarwal
Pranav Agarwal is a graduate student in the Master of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS) program on a Merit Scholarship at Georgetown University, pursuing a concentration in Global Politics and Security. He is interested in humanitarian and human rights policy and multilateral diplomacy.
Prior to MSFS, Pranav earned a law degree from the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab in India, where he specialized in international law. He worked as a Student Legal Advisor to the Permanent Mission of Sierra Leone to the United Nations (UN) in Geneva, Switzerland. He advised on the 49th and 50th Sessions of the UN Human Rights Council (HRC) and the 40th Session of the Universal Periodic Review. He participated in negotiations on HRC Resolution 50/11 on the ‘Importance of Casualty Recording to Human Rights.’ Pranav has also interned with the Max Planck Institute for International Law, Amnesty International, and the Supreme Court of India. He has been an editor for the Groningen Journal of International Law and E-International Relations.
