Jassi Singh
Jassi, a native of Fresno, California, pursued his undergraduate studies at California State University, Fresno, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science. During his time there, he had the opportunity to delve into issues of political violence and hate speech, culminating in a senior honors thesis, sparking his interest in International Relations.
In his prior role as a Fellow at the Jakara Movement, Jassi led a cross-functional team covering 17 Californian Counties. His responsibilities included contextualizing and raising awareness about the 1984 Sikh Genocide, catering to a constituency of over 10,000 paid members in California. With a passion for providing dedicated and trusted service, he is committed to empowering marginalized communities in their social and political endeavors.
Jassi aspires to contribute to global diplomacy and one day envisions working at the State Department as a Foreign Service Officer.
