Angel Shen
Angel is a MSFS candidate at Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service in the Science, Technology, and International Affairs concentration. Within the STIA concentration, they focus on Artificial Intelligence policy and semiconductors trade and regulation. Angel graduated from the George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs where they double majored in International Affairs and Japanese.
Before Georgetown, Angel worked with Trivium China and U.S.-China Business Council on policy analysis and research. Within the policy sphere, they are interested in U.S.-China relations, cross-strait relations, Japanese party politics, and tech governance. Outside of the policy sphere, they love to read about linguistics, popular culture, and gender movements. Angel is a bilingual speaker of Mandarin and English, and holds a JPLT N1 certificate in Japanese.
