Tanya Nagrath
Tanya is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Foreign Service, with an emphasis on Global Politics and Security and a regional focus on Asia. She is also a member of the SFS Committee on China. Her thematic interests are wide-ranging and include crisis diplomacy, maritime geopolitics, and climate policy, to name a few. Tanya attained her bachelors in commerce, from the University of Delhi in India. She has interned with the government of India and has volunteered for several NGOs. She is a native Hindi speaker and is currently learning German at the university. At Georgetown, she hopes to leverage the diversity of her experiences and combine it with her intellectual curiosity to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the dynamic discipline of International Relations. Following graduation, Tanya hopes to continue a career in public service that blends her passions for international politics and global development.
