Suria Gopal Crabtree
Suria Gopal Crabtree is a Master of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS) candidate with a concentration in Science, Technology, and International Affairs, focusing on energy and the global environment, with a regional focus on Sub-Saharan Africa. As an accelerated BSFS/MSFS student, Suria majored in Regional and Comparative Studies, studying the implications of climate change on Sub-Saharan Africa and Southeast Asia. She also received a certificate in African studies. Prior to MSFS, Suria was a development fellow for the National Caucus of Environmental Legislators (NCEL). She is proficient in Spanish and is learning Swahili. After graduation, she hopes to work on climate and energy issues in East Africa.
