Sarah Walker
Sarah Walker is pursuing a Master of Science in Foreign Service with a concentration in Global Politics & Security at Georgetown University. Simultaneously, she works as an Associate Director at FGS Global, a government relations and public affairs consultancy. As a member of the firm’s International Affairs team, Sarah specializes in foreign policy, global health, trade, and national security. During her tenure at FGS, she has supported dozens of clients, including foreign governments, multinational corporations, and internationally focused non-profit organizations.
Prior to joining FGS, Sarah authored the Iraq Security and Humanitarian Monitor, a weekly publication produced by the Enabling Peace for Iraq Center. Before moving to DC, she taught at a military academy through the French Department of Defense while studying politics and art history in southern France. During a stint in Ecuador, Sarah directed a microfinance initiative to foster local entrepreneurship and taught English classes. In 2018, she participated in a professional exchange program in Egypt as a Shafik Gabr Foundation Fellow. Sarah earned a bachelor’s degree in International Affairs from Vanderbilt University.
