Nourhan Nasser
Nourhan Nasser was born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon before moving to Orlando, Florida in 2012. Having the opportunity to serve as a Youth Ambassador in the Northeastern region of Brazil through Rotary Youth Exchange piqued her interest in International Relations. She went on to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Central Florida, concentrating in Comparative Politics and International Relations. In addition, Nourhan minored in Latin American Studies and earned a certificate in Intelligence and National Security. Her undergraduate research focused on systemic racism in Brazilian favelas and the rarity of escaping a cycle of poverty fueled by a lack of government intervention and its effects. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Foreign Service with a Concentration in Science and Technology in International Affairs. She hopes to one day work at the State Department as a U.S. Economic Foreign Service Officer.
"Georgetown and MSFS have always been my top choice. This program, the faculty, and events are incomparable in the world of politics and international relations."
