Niall Schweitzer Dolan
Niall is a Master of Science in Foreign Service student concentrating in Science, Technology, and International Affairs. He is focusing his graduate studies on energy and the environment. In particular, he is interested in the Arctic as a region rife with emerging opportunities for new shipping lanes, energy and mineral extraction projects, and as an arena of geopolitical competition.
After college, he taught English in Málaga and Granada, Spain at bilingual high schools through a grant from the Spanish Ministry of Education. Prior to MSFS, he was a project manager at Chemonics International, where he worked on a USAID-funded project that procured health commodities and strengthened health supply chains in Cambodia, Nepal, and Vietnam.
Niall has dual bachelor’s degrees in Spanish and business management from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He is professionally proficient in Spanish and is studying Russian at Georgetown.
