Molly grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and received a Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara. As a student, she had the opportunity to study abroad in Sweden and Tanzania and later worked for the University of California Education Abroad Program. After graduating, she worked as an English teacher and musician in New York City.
In addition to her studies in the Master of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS) program, Molly serves as a Section Editor for the Georgetown Journal of International Affairs and interns with the Education for Peace in Iraq Center. She is particularly interested in migration, education, and transitional justice in the Middle East and North Africa. She hopes to pursue a career in public diplomacy and continue to write and perform music.
"I chose the MSFS program for its practice-oriented approach, small class sizes, and many opportunities available in D.C.”
