Linxiao Zhu
Linxiao was inspired to pursue a career in international affairs after an experience working, studying, and traveling to more than 40 countries. As an undergraduate, he interned at a tech start-up in Mumbai, India. He has also participated in a "Belt and Road" summer school in Novosibirsk, Russia. After graduating, he has worked for Greenpeace Australia Pacific in Melbourne and Deloitte Consulting in Beijing.
During his Master of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS) studies, Linxiao has interned at United Nations ESCAP in Bangkok, Thailand and Eurasia Group in D.C. He is also the co-president of China Forum, a student club focused on China's global engagement at Georgetown. He is especially passionate about US-China relations, political risks in emerging markets, and the nexus of business and geopolitics. He aspires to pursue a diplomatic career in multilateral institutions, or become a political risk practitioner analyzing global politics.
"The unchallengeable standing of D.C. as the international political center, the unparalleled academic prestige that Georgetown enjoys over the realm of international relations, would undoubtedly help me excel in an exciting career navigating global politics."
