Josh Parsons
Prior to arriving at Master of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS), Josh worked as a Program Analyst for the Commandant at the Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy. He is currently in the reserves where he is attached to the National Defense University. He spent his time in the Navy as a pilot in a maritime patrol reconnaissance squadron out of Jacksonville, FL. He made deployments all over the world in the Navy and is looking forward to a couple years in Washington D.C. He completed his undergraduate degree at the United States Naval Academy, graduating in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in English and a minor in Arabic.
Josh hopes to work as a Foreign Service Officer in the U.S. State Department upon graduation, but is also very interested in the possibility of a position in the World Bank as well. He is an international development concentrator and intends to pursue a certificate in Arab Studies. He is interested in conflict resolution and fostering peace in fragile states.
