Hannah Anderson
Hannah Anderson is a current student in the Master of Science in Foreign Service program at Georgetown University. In addition, she is a Hinrich Global Trade Leader Scholar, the Senior Editor of the Georgetown Journal of Asian Affairs, and the Professional Development Chair of the Georgetown Women in International Affairs Society.
Prior to Georgetown, Hannah worked as a Global Market Strategist on the Global Market Insights Strategy team at JPMorgan Asset Management, based in New York and Hong Kong. In this role, Hannah was responsible for developing and communicating timely market and economic insights to retail and institutional clients across Asia Pacific. In this role, she focused on the investment implication of China’s evolving financial system, changes in global trade and U.S.-China relations. As one of the authors of J.P. Morgan Asset Management’s Long-Term Capital Markets Assumptions, she has both developed long-run forecasts for economies and markets, and written extensively on how developments such as China’s ongoing financial liberalization or declining productivity growth will impact asset class returns. Hannah has made frequent appearances on CNBC, Bloomberg, and other financial news outlets and is often quoted in the financial press. She also contributed to publications such as the Guide to the Markets, Guide to Alternatives and Weekly Market Recap. Hannah has a Bachelor’s degree from Brandeis University in Economics, International and Global Studies, and East Asian Studies.
