Darren Hall
Darren is a dual degree student in the Master of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS) and MBA programs. From Winnipeg, Manitoba, he completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Management at the University of Western Ontario’s Richard Ivey School of Business and subsequently worked in both the private and public sectors, domestically and internationally. His employment experience includes an internship at the Embassy of Canada in Washington DC and financial analysis and project management for numerous real estate developers. He taught business case studies to students at Addis Ababa University in Ethiopia and participated in multiple cross-cultural exchange programs in Russia, Israel and the United Kingdom.
Darren excels at travel photography and videography, especially to exotic locations that have included a trip to an emperor penguin colony in Antarctica. As a hobby, Darren pursued his pilot's license while in high school, learning to fly a Cessna 152 prior to learning to drive.
"I chose MSFS for its exceptional reputation among the international affairs community as well as for the opportunity to work with and share challenges with a diverse group of foreign service professionals."
