Daniel Kuria Wanjira
After graduating from Strathmore University with a BSc in Actuarial Science, Daniel joined EY’s advisory practice where he provided management consultancy to financial services firms across East Africa geared on improving operational efficiency, strategy, people & organizational structure, and customer experience. He then joined Energy 4 Impact where he worked on sustainable energy projects in Sub-Saharan Africa. His work focused on accelerating access to sustainable energy across Sub-Saharan Africa. He worked with Mini-Grids, Energy SMEs, governments, technology companies, foundations and international funders to build sustainable businesses and projects in the energy sector. Have worked with over 30 Mini-Grids (, 20 Start-Ups, introduced power to 50K+ off-grid households, 250+ rural elementary schools, 70+ Rural Health Centers, and assisted small business raise financing to the tune of USD1.3M. Daniel is Global Talent at UNLEASH, Copenhagen and is a former delegate from Kenya to the Yenching Global Symposium in Beijing.
