Cary Cheng
Cary grew up in Beijing, China, and attended Washington University in St. Louis, graduating with majors in Operations & Supply Chain Management, Philosophy, as well a minor in Political Science. Following graduation, Cary went to work for Uber in its Chicago and San Francisco offices, and helped launch the product now known as Powerloop. Cary then worked for a real-estate/hospitality start-up in a variety of locations, building out operations, managing teams, growing the business, and spearheading cross-functional analytics projects.
This past summer, Cary served as a Public Affairs Intern at the United States Department of State in the East Asian and Pacific Affairs Bureau, primarily supporting the China desk on all China-related messaging.
